KUKURUZNA SRCA SA SIROM by Maslinka

Još jedan recept iz Maslinkine kuhinje. Drugi put pravim ova srca, i dok sam prvi put sledila recept sa kačkavaljem ovaj put sam koristila sir sa plavim plesnima. Odlična i dekorativna peciva.




KUKURUZNA SRCA SA SIROM

300g brašna
2 kašike ulja
1 kašičica soli
20g svežeg kvasca
prstohvat šećera i brašna
voda
malo palente za posipanje radne površine
100g Edamera ili Roqueforta
beli luk u prahu


Staviti kvasac sa prstohvatom šećera i brašna u 100ml tople vode i ostaviti ga da naraste. Nadošli kvasac dodati u brašnu, pa dodati so i 2 kašike ulja i još vode ukoliko je potrebno, pa zamesiti glatko i elastično testo koje potom ostavite da se odmara oko 20 minuta. Radnu površinu posuti palentom, pa na njoj rastanjiti testo do veličine 40x50cm, a zatim narendati kačkavalj preko cele površine i  iseći ga na 4 trake. Svaku traku zaviti u rolnu, a svaku rolnu preseći na 2 jednaka dela koja potom spojimo i formiramo oblik srca, a ceo postupak možete videti u  video receptu.

Peći na 200 stepeni oko 10 minuta, a pred kraj pečenja premazati uljem i posuti belim lukom u prahu, pa nastaviti sa pečenjem još 15 minuta.




HEART SHAPED PASTRY STUFFED WITH CHEESE


300g of flour
20g of fresh yeast (7g dry)
pinch of sugar and flour
1 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of oil
3 tablespoons of polenta
100g of grated cheese
garlic powder

Place fresh yeast with a pinch of sugar and a pinch of flour in a cup and add 100ml of warm water. Leave in a warm place and let it bubble up for 20 minutes or so. In a bowl place the flour, add salt and oil and pour the bubbled up yeast, add more water if needed and knead into an elastic dough that does not stick to fingers. Let the dough rest for 20 minutes. Spread some polenta on a work surface and with a rolling pin roll out the dough into 40x50cm rectangle. Place shredded Gouda or crumbled Roquefort on top of the dough and now cut 4 long and equal strips . Roll each strip and now cut each roll into 2 equal parts. Form a shape of a heart and place on the baking paper on an oven tray

Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes, then spread oil on top of the hearts and sprinkle the garlic powder the video recipe can be seen here. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
